Review Panerai Luminor Chrono Carbotech Chronograph

The Panerai Luminor Chrono Carbotech chronograph watch (PAM01219) continues Panerai's consistent iconic design and meets the pursuit of aesthetics and functionality by modern watch enthusiasts.

The new Panerai Luminor clone watch uses a 44 mm diameter Carbotech™ carbon fiber case, inheriting the classic aesthetic features of the Luminor series, and is equipped with luminous hour markers and a unique small seconds dial. Carbotech™ carbon fiber material is extremely eye-catching. Its weight is 14% lighter than titanium and 36% lighter than fine steel, which greatly improves the comfort and durability of the watch. The structure of this material gives it unique beauty and performance. It is made of carbon fiber sheets and high-tech polymer PEEK (polyetheretherketone) compressed under high pressure at a specific temperature, making this composite material stronger and more durable.

The matte black dial makes the blue accents on the chronograph scales and small dials more eye-catching. The color matching of the new work has a dual purpose: in addition to providing a sharp contrast with the black dial, it also allows the wearer to quickly identify the various functions of the watch, echoing Panerai’s unique and iconic luminous elements. The watch is equipped with a strap made of functional material, which is sweat-proof and waterproof, with a waterproof depth of 10 bar (100 meters), and a sealed case back. This watch also offers a black rubber strap for watch lovers who like classic styles. The new watch is equipped with the P.9200 self-winding mechanical movement, which provides a 42-hour power reserve. The wearer can use the speed scale to calculate the average speed within a given voyage.
